Are you looking for a unique experience on Lake Biwako?
On our Shirahige Shrine Tours we can kayak to the famous Shirahige Shrine Gate all year round. In Japanese a Shrine Gate is called a “Torii”.
One of the best ways to view this beautiful Torii is by Kayak. Shirahige Shrine is the oldest shrine in Shiga and has an abundance of stories and history about it. All our tours are led by professional guides and all equipment is provided. (Please bring extra clothes, water shoes and a towel) Also your guide will take pictures of this great experience and will provide the photos to you via Airdrop or LINE application completely free of charge!

How is the unique way of playing on the lake? A water activity called Stand Up Paddle, or SUP for short, is a game of riding a large board and using a paddle. It’s not just fun, but you can also exercise it because you can train your torso!
Lake Biwa SUP, which starts at Matsunoura Campsite, has a course on land in advance, and there is an instructor during the tour, so you can enjoy it thoroughly. After the SUP, enjoy the holiday to the fullest on the beach!
